Delight at Lua Restaurant in the Port of Soller
We enjoyed a delightful and surprising dish the other day. A typical Mallorcan ensaimada with foie and some apple sauce is an explosion of surprises on the tongue. Maties Payeras is the chef at Lua Restaurant in the Port of Soller and the creator of this wonderful dish. A must on the list to try.

Predio Son Quint: Olive Oil used by Koldo Royo
Predio Son Quint extra virgin olive oil is a quality product from the island of Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain.It is manually and caringly produced by Luis Español using methods respectful of the fruit and the earth. The result is a tasty and fruity olive oil, with green and herbaceous notes. The oil is obtained from a coupage of three types of olives native to the island: arbequina, picual and empeltre.
Predio Son Quint is gaining great acceptance and use by well-known culinary personalities such as Koldo Royo.
Last week, we tasted delicious creations by chef Koldo made with Predio Son Quint.

Malvasia Wine at Montimar, Estellencs
No visit to Mallorca is complete without tasting the white house wines at Montimar restaurant in Estellencs, Majorca. The Ambrat, Ambari and the sweet Ambrassi are all made from the native Malvasia grape, and the suckling pig prepared every day by Guilllermo is a true Mallorcan delicacy. The restaurant is right in the center of this scenic little town.
